With the spring 2017 PARCC administration season set to begin in March, the consortium has made a wealth of resources available to help parents, teachers, and students all prepare for this year’s testing. Over the past two years, more than 1,300 authentic released items from PARCC assessments have been published on the Partnership Resource Center with more high school items set to be released. These items, which are accompanied by answer keys and authentic student responses, are designed to give both students and teachers alike the most accurate possible idea of what to expect on this year’s upcoming assessments.
The PARCC Consortium Website also features a robust library of information and guides, with specific sections tailored to parents, teachers and students. Visitors can learn more about the way that the assessments are developed and how they will be administered, along with customized guidelines on how to ask for more information about the test, and who to ask. The website also features information on test accessibility, student data security, and much more.
