Pearson has launched a new Common Core Standards website. While much of the site is commercially based — selling the products and services of Pearson — there are several useful (and free!) webinars:
Common Core: Math Standards – Implementation for Success
As part of its commitment to help states transition to the new standards, Pearson called upon its Common Core mathematics expert, Phil Daro, to help educators learn how to apply the new math standards in a free webinar. Daro, chair of the state-led Common Core Standards Mathematics Workgroup and a senior fellow for mathematics at Pearson’s school improvement business America’s Choice, will take teachers on a step-by-step journey through the standards, making them relevant for front-line educators.
